LAHORE: In a move aimed at enhancing citizen convenience, the Traffic Police Punjab, under the guidance of IG Punjab Dr Usman Anwar, has recently introduced new features and initiatives, including how to renew Lahore driving license and international driving licence.

According to details, residents of all cities in Punjab, such as Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Gujrat, Kasur, and Sialkot, can now renew their regular and international licences through an online platform as well.

This initiative allows citizens to make online payments and submit necessary documents at various designated locations, including police service centres, traffic centres, front desks of police stations, and public portals across the province.

Digital System – DLIMS Punjab

Moving towards digitalization, the Punjab government has offered online renewal for driving license. Thanks to Pakistan Information Technology Board (PITB), you can now apply for the license through the very convenient Driving License Information Management System (DLIMS) that works for all parts of Punjab.

Applying for the renewal of a driving license in Lahore does not require taking any theoretical or practical driving tests except for certain documents.
