PAK vs NZ: Team Management and Commentary Panel Revealed

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the team management for the upcoming T20I and ODI series against New Zealand.

As per an official statement by the PCB, Rehan-ul-Haq, who is currently the general manager of Islamabad United, has been designated as the team manager for the national side.

Grant Bradburn, a former Test cricketer from New Zealand, has been appointed as the head coach for the upcoming T20I and ODI series against Pakistan, with Abdul Rehman being designated as his assistant. Andrew Puttick has been named as the batting coach. The contract of Umar Gul as the bowling coach has been extended.

According to reports, the Pak vs NZ team management appointments have been made with the potential addition of a team director in mind. Mickey Arthur, the former head coach of the national team, is expected to be confirmed for the role after the New Zealand tour, which will be held in Pakistan.

The PCB has appointed Bradburn and Puttick as part of the team management for the New Zealand series. They are scheduled to arrive in Lahore on 11th April. The board has also stated that the selection process for the post-New Zealand team management is still ongoing, and the confirmed appointments will be announced at a later time.

Commentary panel for Pak v NZ series

The Pakistan Cricket Board has unveiled the 7-member commentary panel for the five T20 Internationals and as many One-Day Internationals to be played between Pakistan and New Zealand from 14 April till 7 May.

  • For T20Is: Bazid Khan, Grant Elliot, Kyle Mills
  • For ODIs: Lisa Sthalekar, Mark Butcher
  • Sikander Bakht and Urooj Mumtaz will call action across the 10 limited overs matches in Lahore, Rawalpindi and Karachi.

Renowned presenter Zainab Abbas will host pre- and post-match shows, including Pitch Side that will continue to bring in-depth analysis for cricket fans.
