Almost a year has passed since Apple unveiled the iPhone 14 series, and now the buzz is all about the Apple iPhone 15. Rumors about the upcoming model are swirling, but a key detail remains uncertain: the announcement date. Reports from 9to5Mac suggest that Apple is gearing up to reveal the new iPhones during the third week of September.

9to5Mac has received information from several reliable sources indicating that mobile carriers are instructing their employees to avoid taking time off on September 13, in anticipation of a significant smartphone unveiling. Although this doesn’t definitively confirm an Apple-related launch, it’s worth noting that Apple traditionally holds its iPhone events in September.

While the majority of iPhone announcements typically occur on Tuesdays, last year broke that trend with an event on September 7, which was a Wednesday. Given that September 13 also falls on a Wednesday, it’s a possibility that Apple could opt for this date to host its anticipated special event next month.

Assuming Apple does indeed reveal the new iPhones on September 13, the anticipation is for pre-orders to kick off on Friday, September 15, followed by the official release a week later on September 22. To put things into perspective, last year, pre-orders for the iPhone 14 began on September 9, with the devices hitting stores on September 16. However, exceptions might occur

In the past, sales of the iPhone 14 Plus were delayed to October 7 due to supply challenges. Similar delays affected the launches of the iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 12 mini in 2020. Analysts have put forth differing forecasts for this year: some speculate that at least one of the Apple iPhone 15 models could face a delay, while others believe that sales for all the new models will commence in September, despite significant supply constraints.

Apple iPhone 15 Models

It is expected that Apple will continue this with the iPhone 15 lineup featuring an iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max

This time around, the standard iPhone 15 is projected to feature a 6.2-inch display, a subtle alteration from the iPhone 14’s 6.1-inch screen. On the other hand, the other models including the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Plus, and iPhone 15 Pro Max are anticipated to maintain the same screen sizes as the previous year. This translates to a 6.1-inch screen for the Apple iPhone 15 Pro and 6.7 inches for both the iPhone 15 Plus and iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Interestingly, there are murmurs of a potential name change for the Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max. Speculations suggest that “Pro Max” could be swapped out for the term “Ultra,” similar to the nomenclature used for the Apple Watch Ultra.

Apple iPhone 15: Design and Sizes

According to rumors, Apple iPhone 15 will get a new design with slightly curved edges and thinner bezels around the display. All four new models will feature Dynamic Island and USB-C instead of Lightning. For the Pro models, Apple is expected to replace the stainless steel frame with a new one made of titanium.

While Apple iPhone 15 and Apple iPhone15 Plus will be powered by the A16 Bionic chip found in iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will rely on the new A17 chip. Exclusively on the larger Pro model, Apple will add a new periscope lens for better optical zoom.

This time, the standard iPhone 15 is expected to have a 6.2-inch display. Other phones, including the iPhone 15 Pro, the iPhone 15 Plus, and iPhone 15 Pro Max, are expected to keep the same screen sizes as last year. This means a 6.1-inch screen for the Apple iPhone15 Pro and 6.7 inches for the iPhone 15 Plus and iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Apple iPhone 15 Colors

Apple is reportedly using deep red code 410D0D for its latest iPhone 15

Selecting the ideal color plays a pivotal role in the iPhone purchasing journey, and for the forthcoming iPhone 15 series, there appears to be a range of breathtaking options to consider.

The prominent color choice for the iPhone 15 Pro will be an exquisite shade of deep red. The accompanying render showcases a simulated representation of this hue. Should this come to fruition, it would mark the first instance of Apple introducing a red variant for a Pro model iPhone.

The precise shade of this dark red hue will be referenced as code 410D0D. This new color is poised to replace deep purple and join the array of customary options including white, space black, and gold. Nonetheless, although the color appears impressive in renders, there’s a degree of skepticism among some individuals about Apple’s ability to replicate the same visual appeal in person as it appears in screen images.

In terms of the standard Apple iPhone 15, reports indicate that it will be available in gentle shades of pink and blue. Stay tuned at Explore It Beyond for more updates on latest iPhone15.
